Teaching areas: Property in the Modern Economy

Property Valuation, Real Estate Finance, and Geographic Information Systems. He holds a Master of Real Estate Management and Valuation and a Master of Project Management and is currently pursuing his PhD in Built Environment at RMIT University. Terans was a senior lecturer at The University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, where he conducted lectures, practical sessions, and evaluations for various subjects at the Department of Estate Management and Valuation. He was also a visiting lecturer at the Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Sri Lanka. Terans has supervised over 25 undergraduate and six postgraduate research students, authored/co-authored three textbooks, and published more than 25 journal and conference articles. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience in contemporary real estate market trends, specialised property valuation, international land economics, and investment through his writing and public speaking engagements.
