Dr Michael Stuiber
Teaching areas: Physics and Mathematics
Michael studied physics at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg in Germany and the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He came to Australia to start his PhD in Physics at the University of Melbourne in September 2013 and was awarded his PhD in 2019. His research examined low dimensional quantum systems for quantum computation applications. Michael currently works as a process engineer at the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication (MCN).
Michael enjoys being physically active, playing board games, travelling and good food. He was previously a residential tutor at Whitley College and lived there from 2015 to 2017 before he joined Janet Clarke Hall.
