Aidan has degrees in international relations, higher education. and foreign languages from the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and the University for Foreigners of Perugia (Italy). Originally from rural Victoria, he moved to Melbourne to attend university. He has 4 years’ experience in colleges as a Resident Tutor and mentor. Since graduation, he has worked at Swinburne, La Trobe and the University of Melbourne in research and teaching, and also worked as an English teacher and interpreter in Italy. He currently teaches in International Relations, Research Methods, Linguistics, and Italian studies at the University of Melbourne, and is completing his second master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at RMIT. Netflix series; music (piano and singing); keeping fit through running, swimming, tennis or cycling; and travelling the world.
